This site is new and this statement describes it honestly rather than claiming a standard nobody has audited.
What we have done
Every page can be navigated by keyboard, with a skip link to the main content and a visible focus outline. Each page has one main landmark and its headings run in order. Every photograph in the text carries a description. Body text is set at 18px on a high-contrast background, and nothing on the site depends on colour alone to be understood.
What we know is not right yet
The focus outline does not meet the contrast ratio required by WCAG 2.2 against our cream background. The text in the draft notice at the top of each page is below the AA contrast ratio, as is one paragraph colour on the projects page. Text inside the small cards is 14px rather than 18px. Some tap targets are smaller than the recommended 44 pixels. Photographs used as page backgrounds carry no description, and all photographs are served at a single large size rather than scaled to the device. We are working through these.
